Description; For this activity, we were instructed to use different lines and shapes to create an illusion on paper. We had to use contrasting colors to make it seem like the picture was moving with three different colors. WE had to have the checkered portion in the middle of the image with an initial and then create an organic shape and trace it all of the ways across the paper till the page was filled. As we were finishing the design we had to list the different types of media that we had used in the project.
Extension: I think that this activity was fun to do. I had especially liked that you could see some of the student's voices and their choices come out during the activity. How I would change this activity or use it is by students study more of the illusion and the background of this project and use an organic shape to create it.
